Hector, Jessie, Dewie: This comical trio are absolutely delightful and have us in stitches with their antics. They love being with people and getting lots of attention. They are fantastic company on a housesit. Hector, the Labrador, is convinced he is a lapdog, despite his size. Jessie, the Westie, keeps everyone in order but is a real softie on the quiet. Dewie, the Bichon Frise, is

always up for a cuddle and will follow you everywhere. We love spending time with them and always look forward to seeing them.
"We have three dogs and Millie's Petcarers
have provided a wonderful service that enables us to be away from home without worrying about them. If we go away for the day Helen and Vincent will visit our house and let the dogs out, give them fresh water and make sure all is well. Most importantly they provide a wonderful Petsitting service and we have gone away on holiday and felt completely secure in the knowledge that our dogs were being cared for in their home environment just as if we were there ourselves. It is also invaluable knowing that we can trust the person staying in our home to look after our dogs. We were quite anxious about our security and privacy, but it was obvious from the first time we engaged their services that Millie's Petcarers were completely reliable and trustworthy. We would recommend Millie's Petcarers to anybody."

Petal: Petal is a gentle, sweet girl with a look that melts right through you. On our walks she is very well behaved and often just likes to be at our sides, ready for any strokes going. The rest of the walk she'll have a good high-speed run-usually with Pickle - or sometimes just with herself! Having worn herself out, she likes to sit for a moment with a ball, cuddled into one of us, or we
|
look along the hedgerows together for blackberries-which she loves, but we have to limit her to just a few! Petal is what we would call a "people dog" and loves to say hello to folks we meet along the way, but always staying close to us. She also loves to meet other dogs, especially a group of lurchers we sometimes see, and so far she outpaces anyone in a sprint. She has recently got into running for balls more in the group and the Labs just look at each other as she streaks off with it in her mouth, as if to say " Well, you can try catching up with her if you want!"
"Helen and Vincent have worked for us for nearly a year. They walk Petal three days a week and have always been professional and trustworthy. They've been very good about helping us in our training of Petal. I would thoroughly recommend them. They obviously love the dogs they look after and have built up a very special
relationship with our dog and I feel very comfortable having them as Petal's second family."

Pickle: Elegant, sensitive and completely quirky, with a real sense of fun, Pickle has us in stitches every day. She is very timid of people she doesn't know, particularly men and will run in a big ring around them, eyebrows working furiously, sussing them out. We always try to time her pickup so as to avoid the dustmen as all the noise makes her nervous, but once in the van she feels |
safe and loves a fuss before we set off. On our walks Pickle seems to be in three places all at the same time and one of the things she loves to do is pinch the ball from the Labradors and run off and hide it, all the time making a "whoo-whooing" noise so that they will chase her, which she loves. Sometimes she forgets she has hidden her trophy and when we say "Pickle, bring your ball", her eyebrows work overtime for a moment before she goes straight to the exact spot. Luckily, we carry a couple of spares for the others! She is so bright and spends lots of time studying us all; we're sure that if she could talk she could tell you more about any of us than we can. Pickle spends most of her time with Petal, but is up for a game with anyone with a spirit of fun. We love our walks with Pickle, she's a real ray of sunshine!
"Having to be out of the house on most days, it's a massive weight off my mind to know that Pickle is being looked after and walked (or in Pickles' case, run!) by someone she likes and trusts. Helen and Vincent have a set of keys and have been walking Pickle regularly since May 2007 and are totally reliable and trustworthy."
